Natural Henna
Make sure skin is clean and free of any moisturizers or oils before application
Apply the paste to the skin in the design you want and leave to dry.
Paste should dry in around 30 minutes, however keep the paste on for at least 4 hours before removing. The longer you keep the paste on, the darker your stain will be.
Optional: Mix lemon and sugar together and lightly dab on design with a tissue or cotton ball to help the paste stick to your hand and not flake off.
Remove henna by scraping off the dried paste and avoiding water for the next hour. The more water and soap used, the quicker your stain will start to fade.
Keep hand moisturised to protect your stain. Stains last 1-2 weeks on the skin.
Jagua Gel
Make sure skin is clean and free of any moisturizers or oils before application
Apply the gel to the skin in the design you want and leave to dry.
Gel should be dry in around 20-30 minutes, however keep it on your skin for 2-4 hours.
Wash with warm, soapy water to remove the gel and pat dry with paper towel.
Note: You will see no stain/very light stain when you remove it, this is normal.
Your stain will develop in 24-48 hours into a dark blue-black colour.
Stains last 1-2 weeks on the skin.
Important: Jagua gel stains instantly. Even though you don’t see it straight away, it will develop and stain. Please be super careful when doing designs to try and avoid mistakes and smudges.
